Children

Suitability
Much of our programming is accessible to children aged 10 and up, and some productions may be fine for younger children. If you have questions about suitability, call us or check the content advisories for each production on this website.

Tickets
All patrons, including children, must have a valid ticket for the performance. Our Family Experience discount allows you to purchase up to four youth tickets for as little as $39 each when you buy one adult ticket. To be eligible, young people must be 18 years or younger, be seated with an adult, and be able to provide proof of age if requested.

Seats
Booster seats for children are available free of charge at the Festival and Avon theatres. They are offered on a first-come-first-served basis only, so please arrive at the theatre early and ask an usher for assistance.

Age Restrictions
Babes in arms and children under the age of two are not permitted in the auditorium. Children two and older must have a separate ticket and should be able to sit attentively in their own seats throughout a performance. Please be aware that if you do choose to bring a young child to a performance and he or she creates a disturbance, you may be asked to leave the auditorium. Please do not leave a child under the age of ten unattended at any time while at the theatre.
