Sixth season: Gregory in Romeo and Juliet, M. de Treville in The Three Musketeers and Old Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice. Stratford: “Hi, guys; welcome. The past five years have gone by memorably, with Hamlet, Bartholomew Fair, The Winter’s Tale and The Grapes of Wrath. Last year I had villainous fun in Much Ado and was killed twice in Henry V. After the season we remounted The Little Years at the Tarragon Theatre in Toronto. It was a critical success and the new cast members did a fabulous job.” Et cetera: “Leslie (my wife) and I went to Paris in December to take in culture and history and to follow the Three Musketeers’ adventures about the city, since I am playing their Captain this season.
