Mary Jay

17th season: Trumpet in Fiddler on the Roof and Festival Theatre fanfare leader. Elsewhere: Mary is also a full-time member of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and plays regularly with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony. She can be heard each night on the CTV News themes and on the Blue Jays Baseball and Alliance movie themes. Training: Mary studied trumpet performance at the University of Toronto, in the Royal Conservatory’s orchestral training program and in the National Youth Orchestra, but continues to learn with each wonderful player she has the privilege to work with.
