Nancy Benjamin
14th season: Voice, text and dialect coach. Elsewhere: Currently, co-head of voice and dialects for the American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco. 1993-1999, resident voice/text/dialects director for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In addition, Nancy has taught master classes and workshops and coached productions for the National Arts Centre (Ottawa), the Globe Theatre (Regina), Berkeley Repertory Theatre (California), the California Shakespeare Festival (Orinda, California), the Guthrie Theater (Minneapolis), Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.), Central School of Speech and Drama (London, U.K.) and the National Academy of Theatre and Zakeum Theatre (Zagreb, Croatia). She has directed numerous plays for Campo Santo Theatre, San Francisco, and assisted in new play development for that company. She was a founding member and actor with the Red Dress Theatre Company (Illinois).
