Terry McKenna
34th season: Lute (onstage) in Romeo and Juliet, Guitar and Mandolin in Fiddler on the Roof and Festival Theatre fanfares. Stratford: Terry performed at the Stratford Festival for the first time in 1975. Elsewhere: Terry and his fellow members of the Toronto Consort can be heard on soundtracks for The Tudors, The Borgias and The Sweet Hereafter, among others. Radio/Recordings: Terry has recorded over 40 CDs and many CBC radio broadcasts. Teaching: Terry teaches classical guitar and lute at Wilfrid Laurier University and contributes music to the Playmakers! youth theatre project. (His wife, Susan Kennedy, is Artistic Director and this is their 20th season!) Et cetera: Terry dedicates his performance this year to the memory of Kevin Muir, the Stratford Festival’s extraordinary bassist.
