2015: Oboe and English Horn in The Sound of Music and Carousel. 31st season. Stratford: Donna-Claire has been a member of the Stratford Festival orchestra since 1981, performing both live and recorded music in over 50 productions, including onstage performances in The Imaginary Invalid (’93) and Cyrano (’94). Elsewhere: The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Charlottetown Festival, Drayton Entertainment, Tapestry Music Theatre and freelancing in the Toronto area, where for the past 15 years she has also been the orchestral contractor for the Amadeus Choir and the Elmer Iseler Singers. Education: Graduate of Mount Allison University (’79). Awards: Recipient of Maude Whitmore and Tyrone Guthrie awards. Et cetera: Donna-Claire happily spends the remainder of her time on her 160-acre horse farm on Georgian Bay with her husband, musician Ian Harper, their flock of sheep and five hyperkinetic border collies.
