Matt Richardson

Second season: Archery for Henry V. Stratford: Performer in Henry VI, parts 1 and 2, and Richard III (50th season). Elsewhere: Currently celebrating his 21st year in the study, practice and refinement of the art form of stage combat. Since joining Fight Directors Canada in 1993, he has continuously trained, choreographed and performed fights professionally. Recent projects include historical smallsword in The Duellist and cutlass for Villains (Disney Cruise Lines). He has been a traditional archer for 36 years, and has taught masterclasses at the Paddy Crean International Art of the Sword workshop, as well as numerous private students. Training: Matt has travelled the world and trained with international experts including instructors from Scotland, England, Australia and all over the U.S.A.
