Four Distinct Stages

Stratford Festival performances take place in four different venues:

  • The 1,826-seat Festival Theatre, at 55 Queen Street (in Upper Queen’s Park, just up from the Avon River).
  • The 1,090-seat Avon Theatre, at 99 Downie Street (downtown).
  • The 480-seat Tom Patterson Theatre, at 111 Lakeside Drive (close to downtown, by the Avon river).
  • The 260-seat Studio Theatre, at 34 George Street East (downtown, behind the Avon Theatre).

Patrons do sometimes turn up at the wrong theatre for a performance, so please make sure you double-check the venue shown on your tickets.
