Activities in Stratford

A school trip to Stratford can be a truly enriched experience. Don't stop at the play – join us for a full day of activities.

ProloguesTools for Teachers
Before most SSP performances, cast members lead your students through games and activities to prepare them for the show. Appropriate for all grade levels and fun for newcomers to the play as well as for classes that have studied it. Sessions begin at 11 a.m. and take place on the very stage where you'll see the play a few hours later.

Prologues for Alice Through the Looking-Glass are for Grades 8 and under only.

Book your Prologue tickets through the Groups and Schools Department. General admission: $3.75* plus tax per student.  

Workshops
Choose from song and dance, stage combat or an exploration of the play your students are attending. Led by Festival teaching artists, workshops are available as of June 2, 2014. Sessions begin at 10 or 11 a.m. and last one hour. At least two weeks' advance booking is required, and availability is limited.
