Activities in Stratford
A school trip to Stratford can be a truly enriched experience. Don't stop at the play – join us for a full day of activities.
Prologues
Before most student matinées, cast members lead your students through games and activities to prepare them for the show. Appropriate for all grade levels and fun for newcomers to the play as well as for classes that have studied it. Sessions begin at 11 a.m. and take place on the very stage where you'll see the play a few hours later.
Book your Prologue tickets through the Groups and Schools Department. General admission: $3.75* plus tax per student.
Workshops
Choose from song and dance, stage combat, or a workshop exploring the play your students are attending. Workshops are led by Festival teaching artists and are available as of June 4, 2013. Sessions begin at 10 or 11 a.m. and last one hour. Please note that at least two weeks' advance booking is required and that availability is limited. Post-Show Chats
Meet members of the company after the show! Informal question-and-answer sessions with actors and other artists last half an hour following the performance. Please note that at least two weeks' advance booking is required and that availability is limited.
