At the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, we're always grateful to teachers like you. Together, we stir the imaginations of your students, helping them discover the joy of classical theatre and classic musicals, and the relevance of these great works in today's world. We've always offered teaching materials and workshops to support you in your work, and now we're taking our partnership one step further by launching Teacher TicketDeals. It's our way of saying thank you for all that you do to educate our children and youth.
What's Teacher TicketDeals?
Just like it sounds, it lets you - the teacher - book two tickets for selected dates at a greatly reduced rate. You and a friend can use these tickets to preview a play that you're considering for your students, to see a play again after you've brought your class (when you're free of the responsibility of overseeing them), or even to see a performance purely for your own enjoyment.
So how does it work?
You have to subscribe to Teacher TicketDeals. About once a month, we'll send you an e-mail that tells you what performances are available and what the price will be. It'll also give you a code to use when placing your order over the phone. When you attend your performance, you may be asked to present proof that you are a teacher. This could be:
- An employee ID card
- A letter from the school where you teach
- A business card
How do I join?
It's really easy. Just call our Box Office during Box Office hours and we'll sign you up. Our representative will ask you for your contact information, the name of your school, what grades you teach and which subjects you teach. We'll sign you up right away.
