Canadian Donors
If you plan to make your gift through a charitable or family foundation, which includes donor-advised funds at community foundations, financial institutions, etc., you are not eligible for any tangible benefits under the regulations of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). CRA regulations state that “no benefit of any kind may be provided to the donor or to anyone designated by the donor as a result of a gift.”

U.S. Donors
If you plan to make your gift through a charitable or family foundation, which includes donor-advised funds at community foundations, financial institutions, etc., you are not eligible for any tangible benefits under the regulations of the Internal Revenue Code. The regulations state that “the grant will not result in the private benefit of any individual, including the discharge of any pledge or financial obligation of any individual.”

I prefer to receive a tax receipt/letter for the full value of my gift. In accordance with CRA and IRS regulations, I understand that I will receive all non-tangible benefits associated with my membership level, including Fanfares, early booking privileges and personalized assistance. I am aware that the tangible benefits associated with my level of membership, including complimentary or discounted tickets, souvenir programs and/or complimentary beverages will not be available to me.
