Individual Giving

For All Time Endowment Fund

Case
A gift in support of the endowment fund supports an enduring, life-affirming, heartwarming and uplifting art form – live classical theatre.

For generations, audiences have been seeing the experiences of their own lives through the lens of the stories unfolding on our stages. Like the generations before you, you have many special memories of your visits to Stratford and you believe that future generations should have the same opportunities to grow and learn through the journey that live classical theatre offers.

Your Gift
Your gift will ensure a vibrant and strong Festival, one that will continue to enrich not only your own life but the lives of your children, grandchildren and generations yet to come.

How would you like to make a lasting impact at the Stratford Festival?  There are many Ways to Give designed to meet your philanthropic and financial interests.

For more information, please contact Christine Seip, Major Gifts Manager, at cseip@stratfordfestival.ca or 1.800.561.1233, ext 5630.

The Impact
The impact of your generosity will touch every aspect of the work we do at the Festival, both on and off our stages – from productions of Shakespeare to new play development, from actor and artisan training to innovative outreach to teachers and students. Our commitment to excellence is sustained through your support.

Named Funds
As a donor to the endowment fund with a commitment of $50,000 or more, you may wish to associate your name, or the name of someone who has played an important role in your life, with the Stratford Festival in perpetuity by establishing a Named Fund.

We understand that a named or special-purpose endowment fund provides an important opportunity to create an enduring legacy for you and your family to support the causes you hold dear.

We will work closely with you to include, in our donor agreement, a biography of the person or persons being honoured and to develop a funding plan which provides you with the opportunity to activate your Named Fund by contributing to the endowment during your lifetime as well, should you wish, as through your estate.

Whether your Named Fund involves you or your whole family and friends, we will be pleased to provide you and your advisors with samples of our endowment agreements and to discuss in detail our endowment investment policies.

As well, on an annual basis we will provide you with an update on the impact of your fund at the Festival.
