Shakespeare’s First Folio
Saturday, August 16, from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m.
Stratford-Perth Museum, 4275 Huron Road, Stratford, Cost $70 plus tax.
In celebration of the 450th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth, the only copy of the 1623 edition of Shakespeare’s works in Canada will be on display in Stratford – generously lent to the Stratford Festival by the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, at the University of Toronto.
Join us for this unique opportunity to view and learn more about the importance of Shakespeare’s First Folio in a panel discussion from the perspective of Festival company members. Includes wine and a strolling buffet.
Playwright’s Circle, Prospero Society, Associate, Sustainer and U.S. Members are welcome to attend.
The museum space is accessible. No photography please.
