Festival Theatre
Limited free parking is available along the circular drive in Upper Queen's Park (Richard Monette Way), adjacent to the theatre, and on both sides of the Avon River where not prohibited.(Map)


Paid parking is available as follows:

  • Queen Street parking lot (below the Festival Theatre at Lakeside Drive): $12 on day of show ($10 for members, or when reserved at least 24 hours in advance)
  • Buick Drive parking lot (next to the Festival Theatre): $18, limited availability, on day of show only 

Special Access Parking is available, with a valid permit, in the Buick Drive parking lot.  There is limited availability, so we recommend that you reserve Special Access parking when you book your tickets.  Cost: $10.   There is also limited free City of Stratford Special Access parking in Upper Queen’s Park.


Avon and Studio Theatres
Use available downtown parking. (Map)  Special Access parking is shown on the map; the metered parking in front of the theatres permits four hours of parking.

Tom Patterson Theatre
Free parking is available adjacent to the theatre and at the Allman Arena.  Limited Special Access parking is available.


At all locations, patrons who are bringing a companion who requires special access may drop off their companion at the theatre, prior to parking.

The city centre has nearly 800 metered parking spaces, with a maximum stay of three hours. In addition, there are parking lots on Albert, Erie, George, St. Patrick and York streets. All-day free parking is available at the Cooper lot on St. Patrick Street, close to the Avon Theatre.
