On Foot

Getting around Stratford is easy! Our Avon and Studio theatres are right downtown (where they share the same building), while our Festival and Tom Patterson theatres are just a few minutes’ walk away. Colour-coded signs showing directions to the theatres are posted throughout the city.

Don’t forget to spend some time enjoying the parklands around the Festival Theatre and the Avon River. A path starts by the theatre and follows the river west to the T. J. Dolan Natural Area, located off John Street. Here nature lovers can continue their stroll along a well-marked trail beneath a canopy of pines and maples.
