SHAKESPEARE AFTER SCHOOL

WHY ATTEND

Shakespeare After School invites local high school students to see plays, engage in workshops and meet their fellow theatre lovers – for free!* 

The Shakespeare After School "theatre club" includes:

  • Free workshops, pizza and performances
  • Membership and events are organized through Facebook
  • You can attend every event or just a few, but space is limited, so RSVP as soon as you can!
  • You’ll see at least two events in the fall and at least two in the spring or more!
  • Funded by the Teachers-Festival Liaison Council

Here's how you can sign-up for Shakespeare After School:

  1. Join the Facebook group and then watch for invitations to the events.
  2. Download the registration form, fill it in and send it to us!

WHO CAN ATTEND

Shakespeare After School is open to students who are:

  • living in the Stratford, Kitchener-Waterloo and London areas
  • in Grades 9 to 12
  • in fifth year in high school
  • homeschool students in the same age range

Eligible School Boards

  • Avon Maitland District School Board
  • Huron Perth Catholic District School Board
  • Waterloo Region District School Board
  • Waterloo Catholic District School Board
  • Thames Valley District School Board
  • London District Catholic School Board
  • homeschool students living in the areas covered by these boards are also eligible
