DANGEROUS LIAISONS

By Christopher Hampton

From the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos

Directed by Esther Jun

“LOVE IS SOMETHING YOU USE, NOT SOMETHING YOU FALL INTO.”

Two aristocrats in pre-Revolutionary France, embark on a dangerous game of manipulation and seduction leaving behind a trail of victims of their subterfuge. Revenge and conquest drive their actions until they themselves fall victim to unexpected emotions. A scandalously clever period drama, the play delivers a nasty bite, guaranteed to sting the conscience of its audiences.

Audience Advisory: This production explores mature themes of sexuality and depicts scenes of sexual violence and coercion, including with a minor, which viewers may find disturbing. Not recommended for children under 16. Includes coarse language. Haze is used.
