DISCOVERY EXPERIENCES - ONLINE CAMPS

DISCOVERY EXPERIENCES - ONLINE CAMPS

DISCOVER. IMAGINE. CREATE.

Our new virtual sessions immerse young people in playwriting, acting and the staging of productions at the Stratford Festival. These live online camps enable youth to meet and engage with Festival company members and other renowned theatre artists. Online discussions and activities will bring budding thespians together to discover, imagine and create.

Single-Voice Writer's Experience: July 19-25 (daily hours vary)

Give dramatic expression to your unique voice as you develop a monologue based on selected Shakespearean works. Guided and mentored by a professional playwright, you'll craft an artistic statement and share it with other participants before presenting your monologue. You'll also meet working playwrights and gain insight into the role of dramaturgy in new play development. At the end of the week, actors from our company will bring each monologue to life in a staged reading.

Who: Ages 15-18
When: Sunday to Saturday (seven-day Experience)
