Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Winner of the Dora Mavor Moore Award, the Herman Voaden Award, and the K.M. Hunter Artist Award and nominated twice for the Governor General's Award. Her work has been staged and commissioned by the most prestigious theaters in Canada. Selected theatre credits: Guarded Girls (Tarragon Theatre, Green Light Arts). Twisted with Joseph Jomo Pierre (Factory Theatre, National Arts Centre). Scratch (Factory Theatre, La Licorne, Theatre Plexus, Off-Broadway Players). Sudden Death (Next Stage, Pyretic Productions). Directed, co-created: Highway 63: The Fort Mac Show (Architect Theatre, TPM). The End ofPretending, with Emily Sugerman (TPM, Regent Theatre). She created the solo show Want Now directed by Nina Lee Aquino (Factory Theatre). She adapted the 1920s Serbian farce, Madame Minister (Talk is Free Theatre). She collaborated with rocker and beloved Canadian singer/songwriter Hawksley Workman on the new musical Almost a Full Moon (Citadel Theatre).
