Information on our Virtual Youth Programs for 2021 will be coming soon.  In the meantime, we will be offering some events during the April Spring Break.

Shakespeare Programs

 

Our Shakespeare program provide participants with the opportunity to develop their performance skills through breath, voice, text and movement. Taught by a professional actor, participants will read in its entirety, learn and perform excerpts from selected Shakespeare's classics through individual and ensemble-based exercises. Cost: $185/program

  • Grade 9-12 - November 7 to December 12, 2020 (Saturdays from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.)

REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY

  • A computer or tablet able to run a recent version of web browser such as Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • A webcam (internal or external) digital camera, or similar device, to stream video.
  • A microphone (internal or external) to record audio, plus speakers or headphones.
  • Minimum floor space at home of approx. 8' x 8' in which to move.

Musical Theatre Programs

 

Our Musical Theatre programs provide participants with the opportunity to develop their performance skills with a focus on song and dance. Taught by professional musical theatre artists, participants will learn and perform excerpts from selected musicals through individual and ensemble-based exercises focused on voice and choreography.  Cost: $200/program

Playwriting Programs

Discover creative playwriting techniques to express your original ideas. Guided by a professional playwright, you'll experiment with different writing exercises, styles and genres in order to bring your script from page to stage. Each program culminates in a staged reading of participants' original work by members of the Stratford Festival acting company. Cost: $225/program

  • Grade 7-8: Introductory - October 6 to November 5, 2020 (Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00P.M. - 6:00P.M.)
  • Grade 9-12: Single Voice - October 15 to December 17, 2020 (Thursdays 6:00P.M. - 8:00P.M. with extended sessions from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on December 10 and 17, 2020)
