Today’s youth represents our future – both that of the Stratford Festival and of our society as a whole. Theatre encourages them to discover truths that endure through every era of history.
Help Us Inspire and Connect
In our 2017 season, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night and Treasure Island in particular will offer young people these opportunities. Additional experiences beyond the stage will help them explore these plays:
- Prologues, workshops and actor chats encourage young people to interactively discover more about the plays.
Shakespeare School, intensive in-class workshops and after-school theatre clubs allow for in-depth exploration of theatre and texts.
Teaching Shakespeare program, annual teachers’ conference, study guides, toolkits and other resources help teachers engage their students and bring the plays alive in their classrooms.
Donate today, and you’ll nurture the audiences of tomorrow – inspiring experiences that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
For a gift of $100 or more, you’ll receive recognition as a supporter of young people, both online and in the closing-night house programs for Romeo and Juliet.
For a gift of $300 or more, you’ll also receive a keepsake house program signed by the actors portraying Juliet and Romeo.
