QASIM KHAN

Qasim Khan

Qasim Khan is a Dora Award nominated actor and has been a company member at the Stratford Festival for four seasons. His recent work has included starring roles in The Neverending Story, Paradise Lost, The Comedy of Errors and roles in Henry VIII, Timon of Athens, The Changeling and The Crucible (Stratford Festival). Other recent work has included: Paradise Lost (Centaur Theatre); Alligator Pie, The Crucible, The Royal Comedians, Dirt, Letters from the Great War (Soulpepper); All’s Well That Ends Well, Hamlet, Das Ding (Canadian Stage); Anne of Green Gables, Alice Through The Looking Glass (Charlottetown Festival); Do You Want What I Have Got? A Craigslist Cantata (Citadel Theatre/ National Arts Centre/ Alberta Theatre Projects); Acha Bacha (Theatre Passe Muraille/ Buddies in Bad Times); Shannon 10:40 (Videofag); and Beneath The Banyan Tree (Theatre Direct). He has played roles on The Riftworld Chronicles, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Saving Hope, Nikita, Dan For Mayor, and appears in the Stratford HD films of Timon of Athens and Henry VIII. Qasim trained at the University of Toronto/ Sheridan College Acting program and is a graduate of the Soulpepper Academy. He has been nominated for Dora, MyTheatre and Broadway World Awards and was an International Actor Fellow of Shakespeare's Globe.
