Audience Advisory »

“this electrifying production is not to be missed” – Broadway World

“a genuine masterpiece” – Village Media

MOST OF THE WORLD'S HORRORS ARE SELF-INFLICTED.

At just 18 years old, Mary Shelley wrote the most celebrated horror story in English literature. Based on the novel, this exuberant and passion-filled theatrical movement-based piece by Morris Panych with music by David Coulter explores the big question at the heart of Shelley's work: what does it mean to be human?

Setting: Europe in the 1800s.

This is a movement and sound-based piece that features no dialogue but offers a richly moving theatre experience through movement alone. For those with limited vision, we have an audio described performance on October 28. To learn more about this performance, please see our Audio Described Performances page.
