IDEAS AT STRATFORD: THE GENDER TRAP

Tom Patterson Theatre
Saturday, July 29, 2017
10:30 am to 12 pm

How does gender drive identity? And what do we mean by gender, anyway? We live in an age of something far more fluid than the simple male/female dichotomy; the idea of the society we’re making is driven by – and questioned by – ideas of individual identity. CBC Ideas’ Paul Kennedy moderates a discussion featuring United Church minister and politician Cheri DiNovo, Rinaldo Walcott, director of the Women and Gender Studies Institute at the University of Toronto, artist and activist Syrus Marcus Ware, Kim Katrin Milan, writer, artist, activist and educator and Tiq Milan, writer, public speaker and activist.

This Forum event will be streaming live on our Facebook page on Saturday, July 29 at 10:30 am.
