GUILT (A LOVE STORY)

Lazaridis Hall, Tom Patterson Theatre
July 22, 2027 – July 24, 2027
Various Times

Written and Performed by Diane Flacks. Directed by Alisa Palmer.

Guilt (a love story) is a deep dive into that complex, uncomfortable and highly human feeling: a state of being that most of us–especially parents–wrestle with inelegantly. Focusing on Flacks’s personal odyssey, Guilt brings the perspective of a self-sacrificing mother, who just so happens to become the instigator of her family’s dissolution. But where does guilt come from, anyway? Investigating guilt’s cultural influence, from everyday family grievances to large-scale casualties, Flacks grabs you by the collar and refuses to let go. But don’t worry, you’ll be laughing as she does – because how else do we get through anything? A Tarragon Theatre production.
