John Kander is one of the great luminaries of 20th-century musical theatre. His work includes the scores of 15 musicals written with lyricist Fred Ebb, including such major hits as Cabaret, Chicago, Steel Pier and Kiss of the Spider Woman, as well as many other songs and movie scores. He sits down with Ryan G. Hinds, whose one-man show #KanderAndEbb is one of this year’s Forum Performances.
