Join Juno-nominated soprano and current Stratford Festival company member Julie Lumsden for an evening of her musical offerings! Ta Promess/Dedication/Zueignung is a culmination of Julie's Métis and German heritage, sewn together through song. Partnered with fellow company member Michael Man on piano together they will guide you through an evening full of beloved Lieder, arias old and new, and a special presentation of living Métis composer, Ian Cusson’s Five Songs on Poems of Marilyn Dumont. Proceeds from the recital will be donated to Kaswentha/Two Row Now. This recital is a dedication to her family, ancestors living and in spirit, and the love of song and music they have passed on to her!
